Funding

Rūnanga-Ā-Iwi O Ngāpuhi is proud to offer the following funding avenues:  Ngāpuhi Scholarship Fund, Ngāpuhi Discretionary Fund, Ngāpuhi Sponsorship Fund. All three of these funds have criteria and are subject to available funds.

Te Mangai Paho Maori Broadcasting Funding Agency  
Crown Entity established to make funding available to the national network of Maori radio stations and for the production of Mäori language television programmes, (100% Maori language) music CDs and videos

Ma Te Reo  
Government funded programme established in 2001 to support projects, programmes and activities that contribute to local level Maori language regeneration. One funding round is held each year. April/May

Te Puni Kokiri - Maori Business Facilitation Service  
A free business development service for Maori interested in starting up a business or wanting to improve an existing business. The service is for commercial opportunities only, and targets small to medium-sized businesses.
We provide: Mentoring, Facilitation, Guidance, Information, Advice

We do not provide: Funding, or professional services, such as accounting, marketing or legal services.  However, we may be able to help you obtain funding and we can refer you to those who provide the required services.
